In The News

To start, a player on the Texans, J.J. watt,

broke his left hand in practice so he had to play with his right hand.  Rob Gronkowski, Tight End, was back from his injury from playing against the Broncos. In the 1st quarter, the first touchdown was by Keshawn Martin, Wide Receiver for the New England Patriots.

In the 2nd quarter, Branden Lafell, another Wide Receiver for the Patriots had an incomplete pass. After that, Brady threw to Gronkowski for another touchdown-New England Patriots! Texans never

scored in the 1st and 2nd quarters of the game.

In the 3rd quarter, Texans kicked to the Patriots Wide Receiver Keshawn Martin. He almost caught it. Since he dropped it, Texans got the ball.

The Texans Quarterback, Brian Hoyer passed the ball to Davis Washington who caught the ball but he was tackled by Malcolm Butler and Davis

dropped the ball! In the 4th quarter the Texans

Quarterback tried to pass but he was tackled and fumbled so the Patriots got the ball and they ran the ball for a touchdown by James White. Now

the Texans had the ball and the Texans Quarterback tried to throw be he was tackled. The Patriots won the game 27 to 6!

Go Patriots!

The Polar Express

By Anette

First, all the second graders  walked all the way to English High School.

When they walked in, they saw that the students were dressed as elves. The elves gave them each tickets like they were actually boarding a train.  After they sat down, the librarian read the book The Polar Express.   After she finished, she turned on the movie The Polar Express, and the elves passed out chocolate milk and donuts to the kids. In the end, Santa came and picked a student to receive a bell (Roger in Mrs. Crowley ’s class!!) and then asked each second grader what they wanted for Christmas.

What a exciting day for second graders!!!!!
